August 4, 2011. Harlequin has made an offer to publish two more of Robin Perini's books for their Harlequin Intrigue^® line. The first novel, currently titled Unwilling Witness (now entitled Cowboy in the Crossfire), is the story of a woman desperate to protect her young son after he witnesses a murder. She is forced to team with a disgraced Texas Sheriff who her family framed. The novel is expected to be released in July, 2012. The second novel will be released in Christmas of 2012. This makes a total of four books that Robin will have published within twelve months.

May 21, 2011.  Harlequin has made an offer to publish Robin Perini's Golden Heart^® Finalist manuscript, Stolen Lullaby for their Harlequin Intrigue^® line.  The novel is expected to be available for sale in March, 2012.  Stolen Lullaby is the story of a woman suspected in her husband's death and baby son's kidnapping.  She teams with the embattled SWAT cop assigned to prove her guilt, determined to find her son.

March 25, 2011.  Robin Perini has finalled in the 2011 Romance Writers of America prestigious Golden Heart contest with two manuscripts - In Her Sights and Stolen Lullaby.  Entered in the Contemporary Series Romance - Suspense/Adventure category, these two manuscripts begin a series of stories starring the Montgomery Brothers.

The 2011 Golden Heart Award honors unpublished romance manuscripts in 2010.  Winners of the awards will be announced July 1, 2011 at the RITA and Golden Heart Awards Ceremony to be held at RWA’s 31st Annual National Conference in New York, New York

Robin Perini has been chosen to present a workshop at Romance Writers of America's National Conference in New York, New York.  This year, the committee chose a condensed version of Robin Perini and Laura Baker's standing-room-only workshop, Discovering Story Magic.  Robin will use a new movie, Good Will Hunting, to introduce participants to a tried-and-true 3-step technique (character grid, turning points, and the story board) for developing characters and braiding character and conflict with plot to create a story they can't refuse.
